Hello, can you believe it's already nearly mid-December? I usually breed early Spring to avoid the extreme heat in Summer, so for me breeding season is almost over. I just have a few hen still sitting, and their chicks are due within the next fortnight.
I am very pleased with the chicks I've hatched so far, some new colours, some progress on projects, and some of the old favourites. I have a few grower pairs available, and a few single cockerels. All from around 16 to 8 weeks. Extremely nice type, colour & feathering. Please WhatsApp or Phone for more info. If you leave me a message here, be sure to leave your contact details otherwise I cannot reply.

Just as frequently, I get requests from people from SA and overseas for fertile eggs. Sorry, I don't sell fertile eggs, for many reasons. and the birds are laying regularly. They don't stop, actually, throughout winter or autumn, in fact we tend to get more eggs in early winter than any other time of the year, and they only slow down a little during February (usually the hottest month). We've had a ton of rain too, so the property is lush and green and they all enjoy their foraging time in the paddocks.
We get a lot of requests from out-of-towners requesting birds. It is possible to fly birds to major airports, but bear in mind that they now need health certificates and specific boxes in order to travel by air. We used to use modified pigeon transporting boxes which were really lovely, and perfect in my opinion, with food and water bowls attached inside and plastic partitions so they can be together but not crowd each other. Now, however, there are specific boxes which are required (not NEARLY as nice as our previous shipping boxes) as well as a trip to the vet for a health certificate. So if you're up for it, we can do it, and we won't even charge for our time and effort in doing so. {Bear in mind, payment for doing so required up front.} Some of our best birds have travelled to the furthest corners of the country by air and have found excellent homes there. Welcome to my website, where I showcase my Pekins. You'll find them in a vast array of colours here, both standard and non-standard. What I do keep strictly to Standard though, is the Type. No compromise on that. It's a constant work in progress to try and better the stock we started with, so far I'm happy with the results and it improves in leaps and bounds each year.
